When I got home from work, Viktoria was so sweet. She knew I was tired and hadn't had much sleep. She told me to, "go to sleep". I sat next to her on the couch and she patted my leg and gave me a kiss and said "sleep". I actually did take a 15 minute nap. She's very thoughtful and caring.
Our new friends, Shad and Jen Kayser, invited us over for a wonderful dinner tonight. Viktoria got to meet their children Griffin, Grace, Grant, Garrett, and Grady. They were so nice to Viktoria and tried to make her feel welcome. She is so shy when she first meets new people, but she told us on the way home she had fun:-) The Kaysers also let us borrow a Russian DVD and a music CD. She really loves the music. Mike had her doubled over on the way home as he tried to sing along with the Russian CD. Thank you to the Kaysers...you are a blessing to us!!
Holy cow...I am exhausted from reading about your busy weekend...can't even imagine how you must have felt. Still loving your journey, my friend. Reading your blog updates are the highlight of my day! Keep 'em coming!!!
