What a great day in the mountains today! Viktoria met Mike's brother's family for the first time. Kevin and Dianne have 4 girls, Claire, Lydia, Sara, and Anna. Thank you girls for making Viktoria feel so welcome. They played a lot of games and spent some time at the stream playing in the water. Mike's parents were wonderful and made us feel welcome - as they always do. Viktoria was shy, but played well with the girls. When we got home, she became very animated. This tells me she feels very comfortable with Mike and I. We went outside to watch some fireworks our neighbors were setting off. She was hugging Mike and I and telling us how much she liked the fireworks....wait until she see the ones tomorrow!What an angel she is! Mike and I so enjoy our bedtime routine. The hugs get better everynight :)
Tomorrow will be her first Sunday at our church with us. Please continue to pray.....

ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating look at your journey with Viktoria, I met her very briefly at Yvette's surprise party and it's so easy to see why she is touching your lives so easily. Thanks for spending the time to blog this incredible journey y'all are on. I pray that God will continue to bless you three and provide others the strength and courage you have shown.
